The dark side of ultra running

They all talk about the high you get from running, the sense of euphoria, the sense of peace.

What you’ll find, once you’re addicted, is that they never mention the lonely cruising of the local supermarket like a type 2 diabetic who’s fallen off the wagon looking for the sort of food that they make exposé documentaries about.

The shame.

  1. There could be worse things to be addicted to!!

Also, did you bypass the bottle of ‘Active’ on the shelf behind your basket … If nothing else the name should give you a boost. 🙂

BTW… best of luck tomorrow and enjoy the training run in the hills!!!
