Short was his time

No a running post in any way shape or form except that the title might make some runners click on in the hope that I scored some sort of 5K PB.

Despite my last post being about optimism and the shiny side of things I have to confess that I have a bit of a thing for old graveyards.

I have no idea why. I suspect that it has something to do with my demi-orpahning when I was 14 or I’m just morbid. When I try and rationalise it I explain that you can tell a lot about society by how they treat their dead.

You just don’t get headstones like this any more. Can you imagine asking the monumental sculptor to carve short was his space the longer his rest on a headstone? It’s all Holy Mary hocus pocus these days.
